Please RECONSIDER before renting in this apartment. I have lived in NYC for 8 years and this has been the worst tenant experience. The biggest issue over the past year is the lack of functioning elevators. There have been multiple reports of tenants being stuck in elevators, which is a huge safety concern especially kids and tenants with medical conditions. 12 year NYC resident and this building has been by far my worst experience. Constant construction, water outages, elevator outages, major cuts to maintenance and security staff. 12%+ rent increases, unresponsive and rude management. Google "A&E real estate litigation Queens" and this will tell you everything you need to know about this landlord.

There are significant issues with the management of this building. The elevators are frequently out of service—often with only one, or none, functioning during peak hours around 5–6 p.m. Construction is ongoing year-round, and water shut-offs are a regular occurrence. Tenants are also hit with numerous additional charges, including steep fees and surcharges for water and heat. My wife and I recently moved into this building in 5/2025. We had read some of the negative reviews but were told this was just apart of the growing pains of a renovating building. It is much more than that. This is the most poorly run building either my wife or I have ever lived in. We have spent the last 15 years living in apartments in NYC, Chicago, and LA and none of them have been run this way.
