not the greatest My mother has spent alot of time in hospitals due to her heart. Once there was not a bed available at either of the two that she would have been sent to, so instead they sent her to this one. To me it seemed everythng was taken at a very slow pace. Also it was very very dirty. The dust was so thick you could write a message in it, dust bunnies under the bed.....and this was the intensive care unit...
One of the worst hospitals. I agree with the above person, no matter how full or empty it is in the ER at Trumbull you are almost always guaranteed atleast an hour wait. Then once they take you back to a room you're guaranteed probably atleast another hour wait before an actual doctor comes to see you. I've had bad experiences with the ER there on a few occasions. One time I went with my friend and the doctor completely violated her privacy by practically announcing to everyone within hearing range that she was pregnant (she... read more
Not a hospital I would recommend When my daughter was taken to this hospital by ambulance after being involved in a traffic accident, I was greatly disappointed in the care she received. They were very slow to provide the service and even slower when it came time to discharge her. We waited for nearly 2 hours for her to be discharged after being told by the attending physican that she was ready to be sent home. Not a pleasant experience at all at this hospital.
Not my first choice Trumbull Memorial Hospital's ER is slow, slow, slow!!! My son fell asleep waiting for stitches after we took him to the ER for a gash on his hand. We have waited hours for xrays to be read. The service is terrible. The rooms are clean though and the parking is easy to maneuver.
Slow and Dirty Even if you go to the emergency room and it is not busy you are guaranteed to be there 6-7 hours. They are far from clean and sanitary. Patient beds don't get changed everyday and they don't even empty the garbage cans daily. Had one overflowing in my room for 2 days.
I can't thank the E.R. staff enough for the great care I received while I was a patient on 5/3. Thank you to the following, involved in my care. Dr. Russell - He kept me posted on my results of the test that were ordered. I felt he is a genuinely caring Doctor.. Germaine Stewart RN, I can't say enough about her. From the time I arrived in the room, she answered my questions, kept me posted on my events, from start to finish. ⚘ The entire X-ray dept. Eric in Cat Scan. And to everyone else involved in my care, that I did not ... read more
