Went to open a savings account. I’ve been living off of Work Comp for 2 years, unfortunately it affected my credit, so I was unable to open an account with them. The teller advised me to go to a check cashing place with a $100k check! I went right next door to PNC and opened my account. I couldn’t imagine telling someone to cash the check at a check cashing place! Super insulting!
Kevin is a Excellent Branch Manager. He works hard to set high Standards for his Team to follow. Kudos to Him.
I have been coming to this bank since I moved to Atlanta. I’ve had some OK experiences and I’ve had some horrible experiences but today July 30, 2026. I met one of the best bankers I could ever meet and she was so sweet she went through everything to make sure I was ok.. I am so grateful for her and the new manager Kevin is amazing and so caring thank you for your generosity and you have changed my perception of this bank
This bank is amazing! I came from Wyoming, 2k miles away, to take care of some family things in which i have POA. We first went to Ameris to discuss the accounts there and elder abuse fraud, and they would not even talk to me! Yes I had the POA papers with me. They wanted my family member, who is physically disabled, to be present, AFTER, she had already been in to give permission for me to be on the account, and since she was unable to be there, they denied me access.
