Either they are trained to lie at Truist or are not very knowledgeable on how their banking works. I was told there was no charge to transfer money to other accounts and I specifically mentioned my Citibank account, that was a lie... Last year when I opened at another branch, a small business account. I was told I could transfer money to other bank accounts and I couldn't, that was also a lie and I also didn't even have the option to transfer to another account. Cards take 7 to 10 days for new accounts.

1 Star (would give 0 if I could) I originally opened my business account with SunTrust and got swept into Truist during the merger. I never had any desire to bank with BB&T due to personal experiences, and Truist has done nothing to change that impression — in fact, it’s only made things worse. This branch is just as disappointing as the Cureton Waxhaw location. Customer service seems to be a lost art here — definitely not in Truist’s playbook.
