It was a bit surprising experience at this restaurant yesterday. One dish I ordered was the grilled octopus. For some reason, there is a stinky smell to it. I don't think it's the cooking but instead the seafood might not be fresh enough. My mistake is: I provided the feedback thru our waitress to the chef after I eat it. Unless it's the absolutely last tentacle in the fridge that was cooked for me, it shouldn't be hard for the chef to verify. The Manager, Nate, was very engaging and knew wine well. Good recommendations! Our waitress, Veronica, was a delight; very professional and polite. (And you were right, the pretzel at the farmers market was amazing!!) We enjoyed the crispy pork belly on pineapple purée with plantains. Delicious!! Then we shared the bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates. Amazing! For our entree we shared the Wagyu Beef Bolognese. Excellent! We'll be back!
I'd say 3.5 if I could. Stopped in for happy hour and it had some decent deals but I dont think putting kimchi on a regular fried chicken breast qualifies as Korean Fried Chicken. Maybe take that one back to the drawing board.
Fantastic restaurant in steamboat!
A coastal Georgia grown man here going on the record- proper S&G. This one tugs on my heartstrings. Glad somebody here in town is doing my beloved dish some justice.
