Worst place I've ever dealt with with trying to get clean every single time I come in. It is something different. It is more and more that they're asking for you. It is easier to go to the streets of London, Ontario to get drugs than it is to get off of them. These people do not care about you especially doctor. I want to thank True North for providing the help they do for people like me. After 15 years of abusing oxy and losing everything from my home to family I came to True North. My first video session was with Dr.Phil Carriere. I was ashamed and depressed and had no faith that this was going to work for me. Thank God. Dr.Phil had more faith in me then I did. I have spent more than a decade on the front lines of the opioid crisis. I worked as a behaviour therapist on an ACTT team, doing community outreach. Later, I moved to British Columbia, where I served as an Addiction Care Worker in Victoria’s Medical Detox and Stabilization units, and at safe consumption sites in both Victoria and Vancouver.
