I just got done with some extensive service with Jim at True Street Performance. I wanted to write this review as a non Mopar guy because Jim and his crew took good care of my Mustang. I’ve been in to see Jim on several occasions for my 2020 GT 500. This particular visit was for the installation of a Whipple Supercharger, custom tune and Dyno. 1 out of 5 stars "I would strongly advise against going to True Street Performance. I dropped my car off for a standard brake job and diagnostic, and was quoted. When I came to pick up the vehicle, the bill was suddenly $$$$$. They went ahead and performed unauthorized work without calling me to get my approval first. A trustworthy mechanic will always authorize additional repairs with the customer before doing the work. Extremely unprofessional business practices.
⭐️ Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this business based on my experience. The situation became serious enough that I received defamation-related legal paperwork after raising concerns about my experience. I believe customers should be able to share honest, firsthand feedback about their experiences. My recommendation is to do your research and make sure you’re comfortable with the business before moving forward.
