I had Luke Baxter come do my home appraisal. He lied to me twice about the services. Then the verbiage he used in the report cost me an additional $650 to have my septic and we'll surveyed. Then after all that he left his step ladder at my house and acted like it was my responsibility to get it back to him. Unprofessional, and dishonest. I WOULD NEVER allow these people on my property again!!!
Absolutely Terrible Appraisal Experience – Stay Far Away! If I could give zero stars, I would. My lender ordered an appraisal from this company on 03/27/2025 in San Antonio, I paid $750 upfront, appraiser Jay Scott Rector did the appraisal, the value he appraised is $255K, we had 3 appraisal reports total, other 2 one is $348K in February, another one is $329K in April, we found he minuses $102K on on comp house sold at $345K, me and my loan officer and lender we all think he has strong bias, we all contacted his office, but he is not willing to make any changes, this caused my loan can't close, lender end up with ord... read more
