The owner seemed offended and defensive because I requested to see her bread pudding prior to purchase. As a consumer, we should have the right to view or sample before purchasing. She assured we would like it. Well it was okay, but not like my grandmother's. This was my reason for asking to view. Some may like it so don't take my opinion solely, but its not what I am accustomed to. The 1 star is not for the bread pudding, but the negative attitude overall from the owner. Customer service is key even when it hurts.
Nice lil coffee shop with some amazing pastries and one of the best coffees ive had in NC. A shot of caramel and some creamer with the coffee really brought it together, freshly made fudge was amazing and didnt last very long. Would definitely recommend stopping by here when you visit the grove.
