As you can tell from the reviews, Tru Grit has obviously gone through quite the transition and I’ve been on that journey with them. Being a customer under the old regime, the new management inherited an open claim from one of my fitness facilities. I also read the bad online reviews and went to their store to make a purchase on 4 occasions. I mentioned the bad reviews and it was explained that the current owners had taken over for the prior owners and the reviews were because of the prior owners, not the current. Each of the 4 times I went to their location I was 100% satisfied with their dealings and would easily go back again...
love my new kettlebells and everything went smoothly at checkout. I don't think this is the same company as before when they had all the negative reviews a couple months back. def would recommend!
I know this company has gotten a bad rap in the past but that was under prior ownership and they're in the process of working to right their reputation and they're doing an exceptional job. I purchased several kettlebells, a workout bench, and a rowing machine from their factory in Carlsbad and the team there was extremely helpful, to include helping load the items into my car since I had just had shoulder surgery. I ordered bumper plates from them and only received 3 of the 4 sets. I have emailed and called them multiple times and yet to hear back the status of my items that haven’t been delivered.
