This is my second experience with them. Both times were great. They fixed my old Gateway laptop a few years ago and just now brought my HP All in one back to life! I highly recommend them!
Total rip off artist the technician diagnosed my laptop is needing a new charger when the charger arrived the store owner realized that it was the AC adapter that needed replaced it but when I tried to have them use my deposit for the charger to replace the AC adapter the store owner said that I would have to pay for the charger as well even though that wasn’t the problem and that it was his technician that diagnosed it in the first place
I had a problem with my computer not turning on. I brought it in and it was quickly diagnosed as a blown PSU. Not only did they diagnose it, but they had it fixed within 15 minutes. Awesome service friendly staff. Highly recommended and the price was great also.
Not responsive at all when you request information through their "contact" section of their web site. Posted a message requesting information on a previous repair almost a week ago with no response. I'm more than happy to take my business elsewhere.
$130 to reinstall Windows? What a joke! A few YouTube videos and I was able to do it myself in a few hours, not 3-5 days which is what there ETA was. I have more horror stories but in a nutshell, TRU is waaaay overpriced, they take advantage of people that don't know much about computers. Avoid them.
I knew I was in trouble the moment I saw it. I did not just have the dreaded blue screen of death, I had the dreaded blue screen of “what the hell is this” death. It was a blue screen, like the one where you login with the squiggly lines. But the arrow cursor was so big I didn't need my glasses. What the heck?
