Was very skeptical after reading a few not so good reviews 😕 and photos that made us a little bit edgy for the room we booked. But upon our arrival we were very much empressed on the cleanliness and friendly workers. Our room was perfect! Very clean. No carpet was actually good for us. Will be booking again for a return visit with family members who live close by soon! Didn't get a chance to check out pool/ exercise room ECT. But appeared great!
We like Tru hotels. No frills, just clean comfy rooms at a reasonable price. This is our 2nd time staying here on our way to Florida. No complaints.
We stayed for a soccer tournament and had no hot water for the entire weekend. Our son was filthy from the muddy soccer fields so we had to go to a friends room at another hotel to shower. The water was ice cold and unbearable in ours. The pancake machine wasn’t working, so there were two options for food: undercooked sausage and bagels. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I emailed the general manager Sahil Patel twice and he completely ignored both emails. Stay somewhere else!
The staff was very friendly, and the lobby is very welcoming and a nice space to hang out. The rooms are on the smaller size, and no closet space. Our biggest issue was no hot water in our shower. I took a shower at 630am, and the water was lukewarm at best. I let the staff know, and they said it was due to peak-hour showers. That's not a me issue, that's a you issue. Liked the hotel and location but had issues with water heater. Stayed 2 nights and was constantly having to contact the front desk about not having hot water. Kept getting different excuses. They would fix it after we contacted them but it was inconvenient. Would only have cold water when trying to shower or wash hands.
