I've stayed at 3 different Tru Hotels in the Dallas area, and this was the worst. The rooms were all the same as the other 2, but the lobby seemed empty with no additional staff attending to keep the area clean. The food/beverage area was poorly stocked, breakfast area was also poorly attended. The worst part was the outside. Weeds 2 feet tall growing all around the hotel. Grass had grown into flower beds and unmowed. Honestly, from the outside the place looked abandoned.

I recommend this hotel because I like the vibe which is colorful, there is enough parking and breakfast is on point. However, what truly inspired me to write a review is the excellent customer service provided by AC. He had fresh coffee and breakfast set up on time for me to be able to eat breakfast before going to the office. He was happy to help, workers like him are difficult to find. I will definitely come back!

The front desk was helpful but there was no knock on the door to ask if we needed towels or if we would have liked our room cleaned

My team had a one day work trip and booked a hotel in the Lewisville area that was not a good choice. We scrambled for a new hotel and Tru was able to accommodate us. The front desk manager was fantastic. The card machine wasn’t working so she walked each of us to our rooms to let us in so we could drop our bags and settle in. She later delivered our cards with a bottle of water. She was fantastic would give her more stars if I could. She saved the day. Hotel was brand new and very cleaned would stay again when we return.
