Ive been a Hilton Honors member for years. I made a reservation at the Tru in Farmville, VA and was incredibly surprised to find a $5 parking charge. Is not the $5 is the principal, really? Your charging for parking at a Tru. Never mind the fact that because the hotel is not a luxury property is mostly workers or apoplectic passing by for 1 night. But several people had vans that took 2 spaces and what really got me were the ones with their truck and trailer taking op to 5 and 6 spaces. Did they ask them to pay for all the s... read more
Would not stay here again. The reason I booked this hotel was because it was dog friendly and said specifically that they had cribs available. I stated in my reservation that I needed a crib and had a dog traveling with me and pre paid. Once I arrived they stated that they don't have cribs, only pack n plays and they charged me an additional fee for a pet. While I understand that - this was not disclosed when I pre paid. Very clean hotel, has pool table and other games that people can play. Outdoor seating area. Breakfast was good. Quick drive to downtown area
Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, warm tasty breakfast, convenient location. Everything we needed for a week-long stay.
I really great place to stay!! Tru by Hilton has a really great staff team also!
