Worst Hilton brand hotel I’ve ever stayed in, absolutely a joke no manager on duty and pool closed because “rain” 5 hours before our stay.

This hotel was great! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were nice! I would stay here again if I am ever in town again!

First time staying at a Tru. Have stayed many nights in various Hilton properties. The lobby is colorful and welcoming. We are sensitive to noise, so we chose a top floor room. Our chosen room was not ready at 4pm although check-in is at 3pm. We took a room on a lower floor. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor’s tv. We could hear the stomping feet from the room above us. We were also treated to a team of student athletes who ran the halls late into the night. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was very nice. The shower and the hot water was very good. However, the room only had one chair. When you're in your seventies, you definitely need one chair for each person. Sitting on the edge of the bed, it's just not in our agenda anymore. The breakfast was very nice with a lot to choose from. I liked the water station where you could refill Your water bottles. I do not like the squeeze bottle soap and lotion containers. I have weak hands, but I see a lot of hotels going this way... read more

The Tru by Hilton in Farmville, Virginia is a hidden gem. Great staff, clean rooms, and offers a decent continental breakfast. This location has pleanty of seating, offers free parking, games, and has an outdoor pool. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and Wilck's Lake/park isn't too far. Thank you.
