I stayed two nights at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The woman at the front desk, Gavia, was so sweet and made my experience memorable as well. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! I would pay to stay just for the breakfast again! The lobby was beautiful and had lots of areas for us to work, for kids to play and to just relax. Having stayed in many different Hilton properties in the US, Asia and Europe I decided to spend 4 days in the FL panhandle. My wife and I decided to stay in Destin at the TRU hotel. While the roomrates were fair the rest of the stay was a disaster and we will never stay at any Hilton Hotel property again. There was only one positive - the breakfast buffet.
