This was actually horrible. There was no water pressure. I’m not even over exaggerating. There was NO water coming from the shower. Apparently this is a common issue. But I got about maybe 30 seconds of a small stream before it completely cut off. This is so stupid. I tru-ly think this place should be shut down. Constumer service said “We are experiencing fluctuating water pressure, and will reset the pumps.” That never fixed anything. We booked for 3 nights. Rooms are cramped, low water pressure, but close to Walmart and the beach. Second day water went out mid shower. Went downstairs to complain or figure out what we could do… front desk pointed at the Mexican next to me stating he was here to fix it, I asked in Spanish… turns out he was not working there he was trying to check in. I’m a dedicated Hilton Honors customer. I usually like staying at Hampton Inn or Home2Suites due to the hospitality, affordability, cozy/home feeling of these properties, and perks included with stays. This was my first time staying at Tru by Hilton. I chose this property due to the location being within walking distance of the beach. That was the best perk, in my opinion. Traveled all the way from Canada to Destin, so we needed a place to stay at. I picked this hotel, and I actually made a great decision. Rooms are clean and prepared. Beds are comfortable. I have six friends that I travel with all the time, so the only downside is we had to get rooms separate from each other. It's still good though. There are tons of yummy food restaurants near the hotel. Their breakfast is good too. I recommend this hotel to you, especially if you are exhausted from a long flight.
