It didn’t have a microwave in the room. One small microwave in the lobby. Not ideal. Every time I wanted to workout I had to have person at desk to let me in. Room key didn’t work.
This weekend was my first time staying at a Tru by Hilton. It truly exceeded my expectations. The customer services was stellar! Nicole (front desk) was extremely helpful! Not only did she recommend a great Jamaican restaurant for dinner, but she ensured my cousin and I had extra blankets when we returned back to our hotel later that night. Great location!
Was contacted by the front desk at 11am to make sure they could charge my card right away or else I would lose my reservation. So they charged me 4 hours before, yet my room not ready at 3pm as I watched four other families get rooms as my family sat in the lobby. Apparently checking in doesn’t mean your room is ready. They never confirmed my email address but had my correct phone number and decided to cancel my reservation the night before with no notice so when I arrived with my family I had to rebook. No phone call or anything. I was lucky they had room. Also the refrigerator was barely operational and ruined ALLL of my travel foods 💔
