Room was super clean. However the roomed smelled like very strong fabuloso. I started coughing and clearing my throat a lot. My husband got a wet towel and mopped the entire room with it and I finally stopped the cough. All in all we like the location and hotel.
Great location and the guy working at the front desk was nice and very accommodating. They have free coffee/tea in the in the lobby and some type of fruit punch. It was very tasty but it had real fruit that wound up clogging the dispenser. Rooms were clean but small. It was very basic and had a dorm room vibe. The a/c seemed to have some type of restrictor on it. It worked but wouldn’t drop below 73 and I prefer to be a little cooler than that. 5 stars across the board. Except for the service. There simply isn't enough stars available to represent the level of service given by staff members Alex & LaDarion. Cleaning up major slack for Expedia. They spent over an hour on the phone after I spent 45 minutes on hold with no resolution. Above and beyond. Thank you guys. Keep up the good works.
I made a reservation on April 7 and I called the same day to cancel the reservation. Furthermore, I Called on April 9 to confirm the cancellation and the lady on the phone at the Tru Hilton colony in Dallas told me the reservation have been canceled. However, I looked at my credit card statement and Tru Hilton colony Dallas Tx charge my credit card $117.74 For a canceled reservation.
