He did an excellent job on my husband's neck surgery and he was organized and thoughtful. He explained everything in detail. My husband couldn't believe how well he felt and he could actually use his arm again! He's an excellent doctor!
I started having neck pain January 2024. At that time, I saw my PCP in Indianola who did xrays and sent me to Physical Therapy. When therapy was only making my pain worse, they ordered an MRI. The MRI showed abnormalities in my cervical spine. I went and saw an orthopedic doctor next who who stated they wanted to get a CT and based on those results they would send me to a pain doctor. Had spinal fusion back surgery. Ended up in intensive care for 5 days due to complications. Needed a follow up appointment as I developed burning pains down both legs. I called Dr. Munson’s nurse and was told to come in on Monday at 7am. When I showed up they had no record of any appointment. Waited for hours.
Definitely deserving a 5 star rating! Dr. Munson just recently took care of my son who had a tethered spinal cord and 2 small tumors. I was so nervous and apprehensive about my son having this surgery but after listening to his confidence in his abilities we moved forward. None of the risks he warned us of presented themselves.
