Thank you so much for taking care of my mother during her extended stay. Your attention to her was comforting. Thank you for helping her answer the telephone, as she became unable to do so by herself. Thank you for promptly answering your telephones. When a loved one is suffering, and the telephone at a medical facility just rings, it makes family members worry that the staff is just as inattentive to the patients. Thank you for allowing me to see my mother outside regular hours. THANK YOU!
My mother passed away peacefully Monday at the hospital I can not thank the doctors and nurse enough for their compassion , A special thank you to the nurse that held my mothers hand till I could get there . God bless .
Being hung up on by ER personnel...because I attempted to disagree that HIPPA does not suggest a hospital cannot give out test results to the person who was tested. They refused to share my own test results with me over the phone...I was told that I could not get test results over the phone on Saturday because of HIPPA laws, but I could call on Monday and get the results over the phone. Had a great experience with my mammogram .Pam Sherman was very supportive and helpful. I could not have for asked for more care and concern. I had to have more done. She was on top of it along with my Dr Tofts. Thanks for all the care.
My daughter was sent to Troy ER from Arnot Medical for some testing to be done she has been so sick. On her way back from testing some of the nurses were complaining that Arnot Medical send their patients there for tests, etc. How dare they get upset that another PCP that might not be associated with Guthrie complain about a patient being sent there. I thought the Troy ER was a hospital who cared about their patients no matter who their doctor might be. SHAME on you nurses who made my sick daughter feel not worthy to be take... read more
Used to work here and thought it would be a great hospital for my grandma to be at. Was disappointed when I found out they gave her not two times the amount of medicine she was supposed to have, but THREE times the medicine she should have had which is also addictive and easy to overdose on. She went backwards in the healing process for about a week because of it. Had to then stop the nurses from giving her more of that same medicine, the day after it happened! Excellent care, from ER to admissions and discharge, and all aspects along the way. Above and beyond human kindness in an environment where many times you could become a number, we were treated like family.
