lol I was happy to find a Troy built place near my home , but called for a part and this dude said oh we found the part but it will take four days to come in and part is 80 and shipping is 10 like really dude that’s crazy well I guess I’ll keep looking cause that’s crazy
Beware if you shop at Troy Bilt.com. I purchased a chainsaw from them that leaked bar and chain oil straight out of the box. I contacted TroyBilt.com customer service, and was told that I couldn’t return the saw because I had already poured B&C oil in the reservoir. They told me that I had to go the an authorized TB dealer to have the saw repaired. They told me about the closest dealer, and it was a 120 mile round trip for me. Don't answer the phone. Web sites says shipped same day. I ordered on Sunday here it is Tuesday evening no shipment yet.Didnt ship until Friday. Still haven't received it yet!
It took a while to get someone on the phone, but it was worth the wait. Absolutely one of the most polite, courteous, and informative customer service calls I've ever made. Not only was the person patient - and that was very necessary because I was frustrated and sitting on a lawn mower that wouldn't start - but they were understanding and supportive.
