As someone who has been to Turkey multiple times and loves the culture…this place is it. They are welcoming and kind from the moment you walk in, the beautiful Turkish music is playing and you are made to feel at home. The food is fresh and prepared like a meal fresh from home. I ordered a tantuni plate and was immediately reminded of what it felt like to have a fresh plate in Istanbul. The food is flavorful, perfect level of spice, the rice is to die for here. I first time got 4 wraps for to go, unfortunately the portions were so little. It was the thinest wrap I had ever gotten. İf not more meat but at least could be filled with some more salad. The good side is that the staff was kind and welcoming.
Have tried several different dishes from here from the meatballs to falafel to lamb kabobs to the lentil soup and every single one has been flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy or salty. The coffee is delicious too. The best part of this restaurant though is the friendly service and cozy feel when you dine inside. Truly one of the best dining experiences in Austin
The food is mediocre at best. The döner and şiş kebabs are not authentic only foreigners who dont know real Turkish food would find it acceptable. I wish Austin had better Turkish restaurants 😩.
