Dr Murphy takes the time to explain new medications or procedures. I've been his patient for over 15 years and highly recommend him. I have chosen another doctor in Savannah for a short time but went back to Dr Murphy. He cares about his patients and it shows in his service to his community.
The doctor is the most engaged doctor at South coast. He is just not prescribing pills and sending you on your way. He works with you to get you health. I feel I am getting better and progressing in my health with him as my doctor. He takes his time to answer questions and explain processes and procedures. Wouldn't trade doctor for anyone else.
Dr. Murphy has been my doctor for a number of yrs. and I referred my Mother and coworker as well. He's very concerning and hands on with his patients, something most doctors doesn't do now. They make you wait close to an hour, just to rush you out the room within 10-15 minutes and charge things they haven't done. Dr. Murphy explains and break down your labs report and make sure you understand any change of medications before leaving his office.
