We had a great experience with Trout Housing this school year. My son and friends rented a house on west college through Dale.
Rented from Dale Trout 20 years ago and I'm still haunted by his name. Kept our security deposit because he said we put nails in this walls to hang stuff, which we never did and had proof that we never did. He also had a weird rule about not leaving dirty dishes in the sink, and would come by and look in the window to check in the sink. Extremely weird guy, with shady business practices. Avoid at all costs.
Enquired about a property from Trout Housing on Friday 10/28 and got a call back Sunday 10/30 during the morning. Probably the weirdest phone call of my life. The man on the other side of the line didn't say a single word about the property I enquired about, he began talking about another property I didn't ask about and quickly applied pressure to try and get me to apply. He then went on a completely unprompted multi-minute rant about Penn State football, making assumptions about the Ohio State game without even watching it ... read more
