I thought that with all the good reviews this was going to be a great choice. Unfortunately that could not be further from the truth. A week prior to my actually appointment date I had called to set up a day for be spray tanned by one of the girls that worked there. The girl who had answered the phone was bubbly, very friendly. When I asked if there were any appointments available for Friday she said no, but that she is the one who does the spray tans and she could come in after she was done teaching at cosmetology school. I purchased a package of sessions last may that would never expire. I used a few then my son spent 2 weeks at CHOA. Our focus for the rest of summer was on adjusting to a life changing diagnosis. I was unable to keep tanning at the time. I went in today expecting to be able use my sessions that i already paid for. Apparently there is a new owner who will not honor those past contracts. New management is the greatest Very helpful and friendly
Used Tropix to get ready for a family wedding. Service was outstanding by everyone in the salon. Neil tailored our package to accommodate our needs which was very nice. The staff goes out of their way to assist you while you are there. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a salon
The new owner is a tyrant. Multiple discussions about lack of professionalism and lack of respect. This salon will decline as a result. As a prior stakeholder, did not see this drop in service coming but will warn all others. Disrespect in female employees physically and emotionally will result in legal issues/ revenue decline.
Worst customer service ever. The new management is terrible. I've been coming to Tropix for a long time now, but I don't plan on coming back. Bad attitudes within the staff and they will not reply to messages. They fail to keep hours posted online up to date (Instagram & google). Ridiculous.
