Excellent!!! I really enjoyed this place. Saw that they're celebrating their 40th anniversary on Jeff Zeverly's TV show and decided to give them a try. The ambience is very Caribbean with tropical plants, Latin jazz, murals, and videos looping on a giant screen of Puerto Rico. At night, I got a Pirates of the Caribbean vibe. I went there today with my 87 year old uncle to try the Cuban sandwich and I must say it was the WORSE Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! We are both Cuban born and we know very well what a Cuban sandwich should taste and look like and this sandwich they brought us looked nothing like a Cuban sandwich. This place is so good. The menu is overwhelming in a good way. Every type of empanada I have tried has been great. The Argentina empanada is my favorite. Wash it down with a parcha and it's life changing.
