What kind of restaurant charges for a cup of water. This is a smoothie place the least you can offer is cup of water. I spent over $30 and tipped $5 just to get refused for a cup of water. Sure they gave me a fancy cup but I just need water, any regular plastic cup is okay. Owners if you ever read this, do not ask me to share more details on some webpage. The picture here on Google is deceptive as I looked for a free-standing Tropical Smoothie Cafe but its in a commercial row of storefronts. Rode past it and had to call the store to find it.
I ordered 4 smoothies and immediately noticed one tasted chalky and just off. I politely asked to return or exchange it, especially after tipping \$6, but was told they couldn't do anything. No apology, no discount, no offer to make it right just a flat refusal. My husband had to buy a whole new smoothie at full price. The staff showed zero empathy and were not pleasant at all. Terrible customer service and no sense of customer satisfaction. Places like this do not deserve our support. I won’t be returning.
