This Tropical Smoothie needs to be shut down! I saw the reviews but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. First I asked for just a kids strawberry and banana smoothie but asked to make it without the strawberry. Have made this request dozens of times in Virginia. She was going to charge me $.50 for extra bananas. The guy ended up making it still with strawberries and had to remake it. I think this is over all the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life. Which is insane to say. The smoothies and food(which people still seem to have a problem with at times as well) might be the only thing they have going for them. I literally only have been here twice. The first time is asked if I could have a strawberry banana smoothie with papaya added. Extremely Disappointing Service and Product – Avoid This Location 1 out of 5 stars I visited this Tropical Smoothie Café location this afternoon (March 6, 2026) and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a chain restaurant. The past two times I have placed an order they have given me the wrong items. When I called they said that they substituted the items because they were out of the others, which if they are out, that's fine. I get it. But when I asked to be refunded for both wrong items I just kept being told the truck will be in next week and "that the items were the same price" not acknowledging that I don't like the replacement items and did not order them. They also charged me for add ons I asked for and did not put them on the bowl.
