I stopped by Tropical Smoothie today and was greeted warmly, which I appreciated. I ordered my smoothie but forgot to ask if it was dairy-free. When I checked, I was told it was made with bananas, peanut butter, ice, and sugar. I asked, “Sugar? Is it raw sugar?” and the young lady hesitated before saying yes. I was a bit surprised because I didn’t realize sugar was added to their smoothies.
