Came to the Fayetteville location because google advised they open a 8am. When I arrived, no one was here and the hours on the door showed they open at 9. I decided to wait since I was already here. One employee finally arrived at 8:43. It is now 9:10 and the store isn’t open. I pulled on the door and employee just looked at me. I tried calling the location’s phone for and update and it just goes to voicemail. This is unacceptable!
Recently went to this location only one person working diligently preparing wraps. Waited for a minute as others customers were arriving then walk in two other employees one went to cash register or clocking in, immediately began making smoothies, didn't wash hands or greet waiting customers with a hello or a smile, obviously as a customer she didn't want to be there. We often go to tropical and the workers are usually very talkative with each other but do not greet or give good customer service. But the food is usually good and so are the smoothies. It has happened on now two occasions where the workers are very distracted and stop mid working just to finish talking and have made the order wrong or not given the entire food order. They seem like sweet people but the customer service is just not good.
I love tropical cafe but this location has the slowest moving staff I’ve ever experienced. Nobody moves with urgency to get the customers in and out. Very sad!
