I usually enjoy Tropical Smoothie, but my recent visit was disappointing. The service was very slow—definitely recommend ordering ahead if you’re in a hurry. I ordered the Detox Island Green smoothie, which I’ve had before and liked, but this time it came with an unexpected ingredient: pieces of plastic. I found several large and small bits of white plastic throughout the drink, which looked like the wrap that comes on kale. It was really off-putting and made me question the quality control. Got my order wrong, worker very happily and quickly fixed it. Great service and sanitation, also high protein food options.
