I recently had a very disappointing experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe on 3/10/26 primarily due to the behavior of the Older Gentleman working the drive thru window. The interaction came across as hostile from the start and immediately made the visit uncomfortable. After Frequenting the Cedar Rapids location almost everyday before moving, I can’t justify putting myself in the same situation when trying to do something that makes me happy. The worker at the window had terrible customer service and was being rude the whole time and when I mentioned that the customer service was terrible she slammed shut the window. rudest encounter ever there not the first time this girl has been rude. She has a sword tattoo on her arm. Nobody should ever act that way towards customers, if it happens again I will call corporate!
