I have been to this salon four times. My first three visits with Tina were great—she was friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, my experience today was completely different, and because of it, I won’t be returning. Tina wasn’t there today, and I believe the older woman who assisted me is the owner. Pedicure - Laid back with minimal chemicals. Good colors and sparkle! Let my dog sleep by my chair. Slow on a Saturday afternoon - painful attention to detail by Tina. Fast, clean. I was in a lot pain after - took some time for my big toe to recover.

I was almost not going to get a pedicure while visiting Santa Cruz but I’m so glad I came to Tropical nails! I can’t express enough how amazing my pedicure was. I really appreciate how much time and detail and precision went into just the prep of the nails before getting painted. I felt so relaxed and taken care of and got to leave with a beautiful pedicure. I wish I lived here to be able to give them my regular business but I will definitely come back when I come to visit again. Very sweet people and an amazing job❤️

I would not recommend this nail salon. The young female tech seemed like she was in a hurry and my nails turned out horrible. They were bulky with bubbles on 4 of my nails plus she cut me on 3 different fingers.
