Tropical grille is one of the better chains in the area. This store is really bad. Wait 10 minutes or longer in the drive thru before you get your order placed. Or, wait even longer inside. Maybe you won't get the chicken on the meal. If it was slam packed that would be one thing. All of this can happen in one visit when there are almost no customers.
Waited 25 minutes in the drive thru line for food with only one car in front of me. Don’t go to this location for dinner unless you’re not hungry and have a long time to wait.
Our prior experiences here were great. Tonight, not so much…. The pork was old and hard, and the rice looked like it just came out of a microwave box (blocks of rice) and stale. My wife’s Cuban sandwich came out of the kitchen uncooked, so the counter person asked me to wait while she heated it up. The meat in the sandwich was also stale. Plastic forks were reused and left in a bin at the front counter. Counters and tables were wiped down with window spray, not the normal anti bacterial solution normally used.
