Best course I've played! And not just because I hit my best score yet!
Top tier layout in both courses. Only downside is they tend to pack players in. Staff is great but as previously mentioned... marshalls don't seem empowered to move players along for fear of a bad rating. Troon says a 4 1/2 round... so enforce it!
The must play course in Phoenix. Top conditions, great layout, unforgettable scenery.
Course in great condition. Staff was great. Greens were extremely fast which was pretty fun.
Great layout and customer service. Club house and practice facilities excellent. I won't ever go back to play however as the greens are largely Poa and do not putt true. I first played Troon 20 years ago the the greens were possibly the best in all the US- super fast and rolled straight and true. It's too bad the greens are nowhere near as good as years ago. Unfortunately, Troon has become 'just another desert course' .
This is by far the nicest, most picturesque golf course we've ever played. We played late afternoon to take advantage of junior rate for our kids and the greens were still in awesome shape after a long day of play.
