Trokay rocks it every time I go there! Did it again last night, had the tasting menu, again, and John out did himself. We are so lucky to have this special/quality restaurant in Truckee!!! Thank you....

What owner/chefs John and Nyna have brought to Truckee has firmly established Restaurant Trokay hands above any other restaurant in the entire Lake Tahoe environs. NYC's loss was Truckee's huge gain!
This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Food so tasty and presentation so beautiful. Service attentive. Nyna and John are great. The place for a meal to warm your heart and soul and makes your mouth happy. And you can actually have a conversation as well.
