I made a last minute appointment (one hour before a wedding ceremony) in a panic with a failed attempt to do my own hair for a very formal wedding. El Brand accepted the appointment and was prepared for the scramble situation. She fixed me up in about 20 minutes and made a gorgeous updo that was perfect with for the event. I am writing this review to document a very troubling experience at the Trixie Blow Dry Bar Michigan location. I booked my appointment by phone and explicitly stated that I am a Black woman with textured hair. I was informed the blow dry service would be $85 as long as it did not exceed an hour and a half. Upon arrival, there was only one stylist, who had ample time to assess my hair and discuss expectations. However no consultation was had, and minimal communication throughout the service. Amazing Experience! I recently visited Trixie Blowdry Bar with my mother and sister to get our hair and makeup done for a wedding, and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful. They made us all feel so comfortable and ensured we were happy every step of the way. More importantly, the results were stunning!
