Don't be fooled by the pretty lake or the "quiet setting." Not all the units have "lovely, new carpet." In fact, you'd be doing well to get a little spakle on the walls, unlike me. I paid a $99 "cleaning fee" BEFORE I even moved in to find stains & burn marks in the carpets, holes on the walls all over the unit that never even got spakled. Oh, wait! I have leased apartments from Trius Properties on two occasions and I have had excellent experiences, both times. I lived in two different apartments, in the same building, on Maple Lake in Paw Paw. Both apartments were newly carpeted and in great shape when I moved in. The views from the bedrooms overlooking the lake were fantastic! The setting is exceptionally quiet and surrounded by nature. Truly horrible service. I am constantly bothered my management if my check is even five dollars short. On top of that, my paydays fall on Fridays. If the first of the month is on a Wednesday and I don't get paid until Friday, I always pay my rent on the Friday. My bank automatically sends out the check. On Sunday, I get multiple calls and texts asking me where rent is, and when I state that I paid, threats that I will be evicted if the check isn't there the next day.
