Nothing but good things to say about the purchasing process. They gave me a good price on trade in and didn’t give me the usual run around you see other places do. Shipping and assembly fees seem high though.
Over $400 for two oil changes. Insanity. This is why franchise dealerships in the auto and Motorsport world get a bad wrap. Absolutely ripping people. Will be going elsewhere for serving from home.
Went into Boise Triumph looking to buy a new Triumph Bobber. Brad and James were great, and within a few hours I rode away on my new bobber. They gave me a great trade on my Harley Street Glide and James even threw in a cap and t-shirt. I am from out of state, and did not have my title to hand, but they worked with me and we got it sorted out. Thanks Brad, thanks James. I'm very happy with my new motorcycle.
More than $15,000 on a new speedmaster that I rode a total of 20 miles before realizing above 3,000 RPM the bike would fling itself out of gear. Brought it back to the shop, was told the bike had been improperly set up ($900 fee) and would need the clutch cable replaced. It was replaced and this did not fix the problem, this is the last bit of news I have heard. A $6,000 paperweight. That's what my 400x is at the moment. I purchased it new from the dealer about 3 and 1/2 months ago. A couple weeks ago the engine shut down on me for the first time. I'm in a large Facebook scrambler group where I see this problem occurring quite often. The immobilizer light also comes on when it shouldn't.
