We spent a wonderful afternoon on the catamaran. We previously chartered large cabin cruisers-this was much better. The crew we were great-took excellent care of us. We’ll be seeing them again!
Enjoying a chartered bay cruise experience like this is an obvious choice for a visit to San Diego but even as a native this was my first time doing something like this. Our group was there celebrating a friend's birthday, about 10 people total. We shared the catamaran with 50 or so other people from various groups. Guests were permitted to bring food, which I did not realize. If I were to do this again I would probably bring something like prepared hors d'oeuvres, pastries or charcuterie board fixings.
