I have taken 2 patients to this ER. Both times we have had the displeasure of seeing Dr. Thomas Wayne Zavoral. He is very rude and condescending. He has one of the worst bed side manners I have ever witnessed. Hopefully we never have to see this physician again.

It has taken me almost 15 years to write this review, I went in to labor and my doctors are Women’s New Horizon Medical Group. Unfortunately, during the holiday season, they had taken vacation and I guess hired another doctor to be on call that was not a part of their practice. Dr. Hartard(spelling). This was the worst experience ever. He told the nurse to send me home, I told the nurse, the last MD with the birth of my son, told me to never leave because I progress into labor quickly. I was quickly dismissed but refused to ... read more

Having my third kidney stone in twelve years I waited as long as I could, and was finally told by the VA to call an ambulance to be to be taken by them the doctor's hospital in Corpus was they treated me pretty fairly. It was only two days later when the kidney stone decide to pass that they treated me totally unfair and then I guess it's in the next review

I went there today, due to recently being told I was exposed to a covid positive person, prior to which I also exhibited symptoms...headaches, cough, loss of smell. After about an hour, I was placed in a room, afterwards I was told by the doctor that it wasn’t a testing site, ( I just got tested 3wks prior). So I suggested that it would be nice if the front desk informed all that it’s up to the Doctor if you’re test....his response, “well there not Doctors”....puzzled....I stated didn’t know one needed a degree to inform, (... read more

The NICU at Oak Hill was such a great place. The nurses made the experience so much easier. The night shift nurse Ann actually took time out of her schedule to make us feel comfortable and more at ease when we first arrived. During the day shift, Alexis was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Both nurses were so friendly and welcoming. They definitely deserve more recognition. If only people knew how much these NICU nurses do for our babies! Not to mention the rooms are so comforta... read more

Avoid the Emergency Room at all costs, because believe me it will cost you. The procedure below got categorized as a "Level 3 - Moderately Severe". Back in June a fish hook ended up in the back of my thumb and I could not get it out on my own. It was after Urgent Care had closed so my only option was the emergency room. Had I known what it would end up costing I would have waited until the next morning. Besides being there 1 hour and 50 minutes, long for as slow as they were, the $1,188 just for using the emergency room ... read more

I was recently seen at the emergency room at Parkland Medical Center for a severely injured, basically amputated thumb. Nurse Practitioner Holly took control of the situation and reattached my thumb. Her calm demeaner and level of experience really made all the difference in the world. The hand surgeon I followed up with the next morning kept saying what a wonderful job she did and I am forever grateful to her!!!! Thank you again Holly! You are a true expert in your field.....

I had surgery at The Women’s Hospital of Texas recently. I would like to say my experience was wonderful but unfortunately, I cannot as the treatment I was subjected to leading up to this procedure was far from wonderful. My pre-op appointment was changed without any type of notification. I receive no phone call, letter, or email regarding this change. As a matter of fact, had I not called to find out my financial responsibility, I would have never known the date changed. I ended up speaking to Sara. She did her best to sort... read more
