I am a real estate agent that has closed several deals with Trio- not one complaint from any of my clients. I love this company and how they make it possible for someone to get into a home and help them become homeowners. The information that I have read in these other comments, I dont believe that the client understood the program which should be communicated thru the agent that is helping them. Trio is definitely a Scam rent to own company. It has the feel of a real home purchase when in fact your down payment does not apply to the purchase of the home. Your down payment according to trio is just to lock in the interest rate that they established for your particular property when your ready to purchase the property. They require you to come up with a down payment or establish that you have that amount in your bank account and set up what they call "a closing "as if its an actual home purchase being established whic... read more
Run if you were introduced to trio !! As a realtor in the Business for over 23 years I never seen a snake company like trio they mislead the clients and charge such high rent that the buyer / renter will probably end up foreclosing ... They don’t answer any questions truthfully , They so t have a office we’re clinets can go get their money back .. They would not get one star from me. After months of reassuring me I was funded, receiving my lease agreement payment of $800 and providing me a closing date, they send me an email 10 days before my closing date that they cannot close and I need to find other lending options. It was not that loan was not approved. I was more than approved by several lenders but was assured Trio could close the deal. This company is absolutely decietefull , They are never clear on any details of the program. I have never been more stressed in all of my life than when i decided to go through with a Trio transaction. I was approved for a maximum monthly dollar amount on my approval letter and when it was all said and done my maximum amount was surpassed by a couple hundred dollars per month and that was after all the initial money was put up and could not be refunded. My experience with Trio and their team of professionals has been nothing but spectacular given they have given me a fair path to achieve my dream of homeownership. They have been more than upfront with their disclosure and information. I know others have already succeeded with Trio and I look to do the same for my family.
Be careful doing business with this company and or their affiliate, TRIO Residential. They sell you a bag of goods, but never deliver. You will end up spending money unnecessarily. In my situation. I was led to believe that I would get an approval for a home. All the due diligence was done, and I got approval from the company representative Lindsay M*****, to proceed with getting the home inspected. The inspection cost me 399.00 dollars.
