I have been treated by Dr Gergis for @10 years. She is very helpful in helping me set goals. She understands my struggles and helps me set realistic goals, that help me with the challenges I have. Good doctor!
Dr. Gergis is very knowledgeable and approaches discussions in a very direct, honest, and compassionate manner. Her knowledge of medications and interactions is impressive. I searched for years for someone like her after I moved to Florida and recommend her highly.
Dr Gergis and her staff do not communicate with each other. We booked an appointment and Dr. Gergis came out and was not very professional. She seemed irritated and mean. As a physician, I would not ever want to practice this way or see a physician like this. She was condescending to my husband and I who both are physicians as if we do not know the difference between a therapist and a psychiatrist. I would not go here!!
Dr Gergis always listened to my issues I had with taking some meds and their efficiency and was open minded and flexible to do things differently for me, in order to make me feel better. She is direct and it is for your best. Becky, her office manager is very responsive to any requests.
