Several months ago, I began experiencing pain and swelling in the thumb on my right hand (which I broke in my youth). Loss of mobility and inability to grip objects soon followed. The pain interfered with my sleep and severely impacted my ability to perform simple tasks. My thumb began to lock up on me and click at the joint.
