We have been sitting in the Bettendorf ER now for 3 hours….. my Dad is in pain and nauseated. If you are this under staffed they should let people now so they can go elsewhere..
I have always said the Bettendorf location was the best. I live in illinois and always drive the extra mile because I've always had great care for myself and my kids but after my last ER visit I will never return to this location unless its life or death and they are the nearest location. The doctor was absolutely cold and while in pain and anxious about whats happening to my body and my health the doctor doesn't take any time to explain anything to me or offer me the opportunity to ask questions. I had covid went to the new er bcus it was faster ..Sent me home with nose spray and inhaler and cough medicine, didn't even have an upper respiratory problem..I was weak shaking blood pressure high ,they basically did nothing even after I mentioned I wasn't urinating ...2 hours later went to trinity and usually go there to begin with regret I went else where first ..I was severely dehydrated needed 6 bags of fluid 2 of which the nurse basically squeezed in so it would pour in ,needed potassium I was low ...3 bags fluid late... read more
We were there, unfortunately. It was a truly bad experience. I've never seen a hospital so dirty everywhere. The staff was friendly. It's a place I wouldn't return to.
You are better off driving to Iowa City than going here. I went here last month and left because of the wait. Today I waited 4 hours for them to see me. Watched a lot of people leave because of the wait. Everybody seemed really stressed out, staff and patients. Sucks because I remember this hospital being a lot better.
