We are currently in the ER with our 6yr old who smashed into a metal ramp at the park. She has split open her eyebrow and nose, had immediate bruising and a bloody nose (internal not from the nose gash). We fully understand wait times but when she began complaining of a headache and crying, I asked the triage nurse if she could have some acetaminophen. This is the 3rd time of sitting in the waiting room for over an hour 1st time after 3hrs we left went to different hospital was seen in less than 30min waiting room was packed at that one also. 2nd time left after 3hrs. This time sitting next to a couple we have been here over 3 hours. Been here before never had to wait this long. We understand the situation is under staffing, this doesn’t look good for your hospital.
Was diagnosed with a viral rash at a walk in clinic yesterday and so today i called cardiology to see how they wanted to handle it, being that I’m contagious as i write this review. Wonderful staff; they initially were going to try to find a way to squeeze me in at a later date so i could still make my surgery but couldn’t make that work so they’re donning some ppe and having me don some protective clothing as well (mask and I’m voluntarily covering the rash) so that i can still get the test done in time for my surgery. Dr. William Rogers nearly cost me my life. I was brought in by ambulance in February 2024 with severe hyponatremia (a sodium level of 122). I was cramping, experiencing grand mal seizures, and could barely articulate anything besides screaming for help. Instead of recognizing a medical emergency, he had a nurse inject me with an antipsychotic and dismissed my symptoms as an “anxiety attack.” Both he and the nurse were incredibly rude and dismissive.
