Called and requested a CAC CT, no referral. I was told that per HIPAA and state law, a referral was required. This is 100% incorrect - neither HIPAA nor Michigan state law require this, and I was able to schedule at another provider without issue, self-pay. One gets the impression that the receptionist was told to say this to cover up the real reason - institutional policy. Next time, just say that - don't lie to the public. This really erodes trust.

Go literally anywhere else. They scheduled me at the wrong hospital, and then after that when I could actually get a scan done, they've taken over 48 hours to get my results back (when they told me 24 hours) so now my specialist appointment had to be canceled. This place is a disaster.

The intervention Radiology department is nothing short of incompetent, unfriendly the decorum is not what I would expect from a major hospital along with overall confused. Trinity hospital reveals many concerns with care, as we encountered many contradictions at all levels. It would appear that reading a chart ahead of speaking with patients is not part of the a standard process. the after care is non existent. Had a cardioversion on 11/29 with team of Klemick, Sean, Galen Engle and Sara K. They introduced themselves and kept me informed throughout the procedure (until anesthesia). Then when I awoke checked in with me and my driver & daughter. They took me downstairs in wheelchair to the curb where my friend was waiting with the car. Def recommend Trinity fka St Joes.
