For general practitioner she treats very little. Constant tests, then refers out as she doesn't handle anything other than collecting copays and referring to other practitioners. If you're sick they don't try to get you in the refer to ER or schedule it out when they have availability. If you need more than an aspirin maybe see her husband. Perhaps he is more hands on.
Was a patient of Dr Eldridge for several years. Thought she was great until the recently, you couldn't see her only a PA. I work 2 jobs and care for my disabled mother in law so scheduling can be quite a challenge. Apparently, after seeing her for years that challenge was beyond her wont. Out of the blue when I had a scheduling conflict, of which I state happens with my schedule, I was informed over the phone the reason I couldn't access my patient portal was that she dropped me, no explanation
I definitely would not recommend Dr.Eldridge. I have several health problems and asked the PA for her to fill out a form to get a handicap plate and she send the PA back out and had her tell me no because there was nothing wrong with me. I only saw her on my first visit.I in no way mind seeing the PA but you would think she'd check in on you occasionally. I have a terminal disease and she couldn't even tell me herself that she felted there was nothing wrong with me.
The sign says: "Finally a doctor who listens ". Nothing could be further from the truth. On my last visit my main concern was totally ignored. Labs done in Europe could not be read because they were in a " different language", even though the acronyms are pretty much the same. Sent to lab for testing unnecessary many times, and referred to specialists on every visit although I am self pay and cannot afford tests all the time. As an RN I have medical knowledge but was treated disrespectfully.
Love Dr. Eldridge and her staff. I trust her care and have great interactions with the staff. Thank you all for taking such great care of me!
Dr. Eldridge makes you feel like you are the most important patient she is seeing that day.
