I want to love this place because it is the only option this close to town, but it is becoming increasingly clear that the owners could care less about their customer. 1. The walkways from day one around the pools are dangerously slippery and uneven and they are doing nothing to remediate that problem. 2. Visited Durango Hot Springs Resort & Spa for the first time this evening and had a great experience. I’m in town from Denver and wanted to check out a hot spring while I was here — this was a solid choice. The staff were all friendly and professional, and the bar attendant was especially welcoming. I also had a great conversation with a few locals who spoke very highly of this place, and after experiencing it myself, I can definitely see why. It was a relaxing night and I’d absolutely come back again.
Me and my friends went to the hot springs for a fun girls night out. We were hoping for a fun relaxing night enjoying each others company. Instead, we were consistently harassed by staff. The lady at the front desk with the glasses was extremely disrespectful. She treated our entire group as if we were below her, very condescending and extremely passive aggressive. Last night for my daughter's 17th birthday I spent $400.00 for her and her friends to enjoy a relaxing evening at this facility. They were followed around, harassed and their belongings were gone through in the locker room by staff as if they were criminals or doing something wrong which they were not. They were quiet and respectful even when staff was following them from pool to pool making them feel unwelcome.
