From being a girl paitent here, this place was absolutely amazing, i was scared at first because my first visit at a different hospital was very bad and i didnt know how this one would go. I would rate this place more stars if i could because i got the help i needed, the staff were so nice and caring, especially first getting there too. The place is very new, clean, and colorful. As a formal patient, I've been here three times, only because of medication issues and falling back into self harm. I got the right medication now and I feel so much better, the rooms a decent spaced and are peaceful with. A bathroom and sometimes a good view from the window, the day room is spacious with tables, staff, other patients, items to play with and a TV to watch. The staff is nice and it's always clean, you get snack and the food is decent, and you go to group every hour or 2 and you get free time. If you don't fee... read more
From a parent's perspective, this isn't the worst facility, but definitely not the best either. They release kids too quickly just to get them out and don't really try to help them. Many of the staff members are uncaring and lack compassion. The one doctor always wants to blame the kid and parents for the child having "behavioral issues" when the reality is that they have a mental illness. Nothing but praise for this facility. My daughter was here for a week and got the proper care and treatment. Great staff, Great facility.
