Terrible experience. Twelve hours in emergency for a 91-year-old who broke his hip to get any proper care. Emergency department was dirty and cold. Patient spent hours in hallways. Nurses sat at computer screens and would not even make eye contact, let alone provide care. Finally admitted where decent care was provided but transfer to rehab was a nightmare with absolutely no information provided to family - not even the name of the place the patient was going!
