Horrible emergency room experience. My finance was the only patient early on a Sunday morning and had almost not attention as I watched the nurses and doctors from 2 different shifts scroll the Internet. I could write 10 paragraphs about how bad the experience was but I will just say that if you must go, BE PROACTIVE. Otherwise, nothing will get done.

Please find another place to go. It's not a good place. The patients are assigned a case manager and it changes from day to day. After being my daughter was in there for a week, I finally met with the case manager and I asked her have you been working with my daughter? She replied no, I haven't even met with your daughter. I thought to myself how in the hell can you manage her case when you don't even know her, haven't met her or nothing. Nurses are talking to each other instead of helping me. Not sure why they can't check me in yet.

Tuckers is a HORRIBLE place. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I didn't see a doctor until 2 days after I was in the facility. It feels more like a jail than a hospital. They will go through whatever means they have to in order to force you to stay regardless of whether you admitted yourself or not. They pump you full of psych meds so that you don't know what is going on. Substance abuse patients are housed in the same area as the seriously mentally ill. It's a scary place.
